I'm not giving up completely but I am trying to reduce the number of guns I have and I've found there virtually no interest in second hand guns currently. It's all looking a bit bleak.
Depends on what they are. The market for collectable milsurps, especially rare stuff, is stronger than it's ever been!
I have exactly none like that
I'm glad that Milsurps is my primary interest and most of what I've got.
Its only the StG.44 .22 that I'll struggle to sell for a few hundred quid, and my lovely Uberti 1873 rifle that might be a struggle being in .45Colt, which is the one that will soon get a lot less use because of feeding .45Colt for gallery.

Alpha1, what about your fairly local dealer, Pukkabundhooks? Can he not get stuff for you cheaper? I am not sure how up to date his website is, but he is showing N140 at £80 a kilo.
I once had two kilos of Vit N140 delivered to where I worked for a cost of £84.50. It caused a bit of curiosity as to what I was doing getting a parcel with explosive stickers on it delivered to my workplace. It was a good few years ago now. I am OK for powder, primers and factory ammo to keep going for a couple of years without buying any more. I will just need an occasional top up of bullets.
Regards
Peter.
are you aware that is Dromia?

Yes Adam (Dromia) is the owner of pukkabundhooks. I have visited him several times in the past. All ways good service and freindly banter. But it is a bit of a hike to his place. I am not sure if he still maintains the web site.

We're down from eight rifles to four now, just keeping the smaller centrefire calibres.
One had reached the point where it was no longer worth re-barrelling and we were lucky to find buyers for the other three.
We have around two years worth of consumables, and we'll wait and see what happens.
Incidentally, if the Ukraine war escalates to the point where putain deploys nukes, then this discussion could turn out to be "academic", to say the least.....

Don't you find it goes in cycles? During Covid, when we were all stuck inside, buying stuff online, I went on an auction site for guns. Everything, but everything was selling for ridiculous prices. A friend is a valuer at that auction house and he was advising me not to buy certain stuff which he said was in very poor condition, and he said that even the rubbish was selling for mad prices
(sorry, this in ref to the comment that nothing is selling now)

I have checked out Adams Web site it looks to me like it is not being up dated. May be he has given up Covid must of been a big blow to his business I know a lot of his dealings were face to face with people calling in to his premises.
Difficult times for any body trying to run a business these days especially in the Gun trade.

Still trading.
Web site is hard to keep up to date with all these price changes and as always I carry and turn over far more stock than I could ever get on the website.
Also at my age life is getting to short to be fecking around with bloody computers, I have far more rewarding things to do.
As I always say, if you want to know anything about Pukka Bundhooks, stock, prices etc. then ask me.
I still have a land line, a dumb mobile and do emails.
Speculating as to my status, especially that I may have packed in, on an open forum like this is not at all helpful to me, my business or my customers..
