What's the chances of and "off the peg" replacement bolt fitting with the correct headspace? Easy enough if it's Savage or similar system though.

I remember back in the 90s when police in some areas were removing shotguns from farmers because they (the farmers) were considered to be "Too old".
If your FLD thinks you are losing your marbles they will revoke your ticket, citing dementia or something similar.
Considering it was an 'age related' incident that lead to the discovery of Durham FEOs acting as gun traders and the subsequent sh!tstorm that unleashed, it wouldn't surprise me if thats been a hotspot in the FLD world ever since :run:
