This thread is just giving me gun envy now! I've varied my 7.62/308 slot for 30-06 so I've committed to the Garand path. I spoke with Oakrise Arms and he is hoping to be back up and running in the near future, so if one doesn't come up for sale second hand at a reasonable price then I'll keep holding my breath for Oakrise to pull through.
