Two rifle and three ammuntion cabinets here including a deep seven rifle BS and things are cramped... :?

Ok, its inside the armoury, but my club uses a stack of hotel-style digital safes (£29.99 from B&Q with careful timing) for ammo. They are rawlbolted to the brick wall and are just big enough to hold a standard ammo tin. Or if you want to stack more in, mine currrently holds:

75 16g shotshells
60 rds RUAG in original packaging
40 rds Amax in original packaging
2 boxes of 50 Eley .22"
about 250 Carmichael 7.62 in boxes of 50
about 80 Rg in 20s
A box of assorted .308 leftovers for runnning in barrels etc.
four spare padlocks
a handstop
a couple of bits of sights.
And spare batteries for all the other safes (I'm O IC Armoury).

But don't leave a set of keys in a non BS7558 keysafe (or cuphook) otherwise the gunsafes are as secure as your keysafe lock (or cuphook).
