froggy and I share the same sense of humour I reckon, I doubt many on here would see me as a Guardian reader... :lol: :lol:
I must be getting sensitive in my old age...I just saw the connotations of my jibe and what happened in the German 39-45 tour of France...Not that is not much the same here.
When I did French at school (hated it but can still get by) the new French teaching lad was a right cochon. He wrote the whole lesson on the blackboard before lunch. Me being me and unseen (sneaky) I headed the article Je n'aime pas les francais. or whatever. Arrived at class 5 minutes early to see POURQOI? Written undreneath...so I rubbed out the whole lesson and bunked off early.
Actually been to France: Normandy and Britanny also the Swiss/France border area...nice!
