Went to old warden last year and was amazed at how brave the first flyers must have been looking at how fragile some the aircraft are.
Duxford is well worth a vist, I am lucky I have a mate who works on the tanks so have had hands on tour round them and some areas closed to the public.
seeing the work they do I understand the entry charged.

Duxford is a great place to visit as well, I have also been to Hendon in the past but that was years ago.
EDIT - I had forgotten Newark, another aviation museum well worth visiting.
