I also climbed a particularly awkward slab on Burbage North in wellies and soloed a traditional HVS (Hard Very Severe) gulley at the Roaches with my daughter in between my arms when she was around nine years old, I remember meeting two climbers at the midway point who were roped up and climbing in the more traditional way. They suggested I climbed on to save them holding me up.

They were good days.
