Crimped are harder to pull...sometimes refuse to budge.

Cast boolits are a doddle to pull, sit the case in the shellholder in the press, raise it up through the die hole, grip the boolit firmly with a pair of pliers lying across the top of the press, lower the ram and take the boolit out from the pliers for remelting and casting.

Foam earplugs (especially the EAR brand) are a good alternative if your hammer doesn't come with a form insert from the factory.

Highly recommend the RCBS bullet puller, no damage to the FMJ / Lead bullets or Case.

I use a RCBS puller and I have all ways been able to re use the bullets.

you can also use the normal rcbs shell holders as well
