Speaking of all this pistol goodness.. we have a Bianchi match and a full on practical pistol match at Bisley on the 8th / 9th August.
I really want to shoot Bianchi again. I intend to as well. Got saddler making some leather ware as soo as he puts some trousers on and stops stitching deviant goods....

They should have done that before punting it out amongst all the fan fare for the thick end of 1400 quid.....

1350, then another 50 for a spare mag. Nice that it doesn't bother you, but if you feel that you can drop that sort of money on something that doesn't work because we have no other choice, then we will always be presented with below par products, despite how sound the concept is...
Make them work and don't try to recoup the costs in a handful of guns, and you'll sell plenty. Shove out an overpriced debacle, don't br surprised when your project goes down the pan.
And it's not that I'm "tight", far from it. I have a several RPAs with mk4 Leupolds sitting in my cabinet. 25 years ago I was dropping two and a half grand on a Colt Government race gun for IPSC and another two on a tricked Hi-Power for fledging IDPA. We have to have Frankenstein pistols now, so give us quality at a realistic price. We will then buy them by the skip load. Look at what Westlake did with his nitro revolvers. Performed some of the finest machining on two of the cheapest revolvers on the market! You really can't polish a turd....

but you can cover it in glitter... :)
Thanks for the info. It felt so perfect in the hand that I'll give it some grace.

That's the beauty of the P226.... What's being offered appears to be the ugly step child of it.
