Gew 98 circa 1916, totally all matching down to the fore-sight block, cleaning rod and capture screws.
The bore is bright with no pitting and slugs at .325/.313
Shown with a 20 round trench mag.

Wow........its tough enough (nigh on impossible in UK) to find a WW2 era Kar98k all matching down to that level, so having a Gew98 of WW1 vintage that is, is outstanding

I'm guessing real original ones are, judging by the amount and high availability (in the USA) of reproduction ones?

MY trench mag is a repro that came with the rifle, it functions (ish), the last 5 rounds have feed problems, due no doubt to a weak spring.
It's just a nice to have accessory.
Numrich stock repro mags in the US.

Model 1908 Brazilian Mauser in 7x57mm that is all matching numbers. They made these between 1908 and 1914. A nice rifle that shoots well and is in lovely condition considering it is over 100 years old.

Following on from the Model 1907 Paraguay and Model 1908 Brazilian Mausers we have the Model 1909 Peruvian Mauser in 7.65x53mm. This is in very good condition. The stock has been tarted up a bit at some point and the bolt is a mismatch but I am glad to have this rifle anyway. Most Peruvian Mausers seem to have a mismatched bolt as they were stored in Peru with the bolts separated from the rifles. When they were issued it was one rifle with one bolt with no attempt made to keep them matched. Some that were sold in Europe had matching bolts though. I think these South American Mauser crests are a proper work of art and all on a normal service rifle for issue to a private soldier.

One of these has been posted on here already but this is my Mannlicher stutzen in the original 8x50R alongside my long Mannlicher in 8x56R that I have already posted. It is dated 1918 and all matching.

Swedish Mauser 1896. All matching numbers. 1904 dated.
