Regarding the targets/target centres I have not found or drawn and yet

A4 paper is 210,0mm × 297,0mm or 8.27" × 11.69" so if we assume an F class target format
shot at 300 yards we can use the downloaded target as a centre for the V, 5 and 4 rings and part of the 3 ring. So the target can be downloaded and printed on any printer to be used as a centre for a standard TR type target in the absence of F Class targets.

Ah...you just answered a question that popped into my head as I was looking for a suitable target - what size of target do we use?

Edit: Just to clarify is it the 300yd/m target we use for all ranges?

I forgot to add I am happy to donate Something Shiny from the SHED as prizes for the series and I am sure I can get a very worthwhile sponsor on board for 2013 if there is sufficient interest.

I find the S class thing interesting I think it is worth a punt.

Making a target should not be difficult if you give me some idea of what you want I am willing to have a go. I can not gaurantee it will be what you want but I will have a go. I can do any thing up to A3.

But no abbreviations I have no idea what you are talking about. The Queens English please.

A3 is 420,0mm × 297,0mm which gives a complete 300 target which is perfect for postal and club competitions and a workable alternative to printed F Class targets.

The 'proper' targets are also available from the range office at Bisley and if they cannot post them I am sure someone will be able to pick them up and post them as an alternative.

While I applaud anybody who tries to get a new shooting form off the ground I can see a few problems as the rules stand ( I know your still finalising the regs). My understanding is that your trying to keep costs down and make the class open to all :goodjob:
Knowing people like I do, someone will try to win at all costs, at the moment, if I have read the rules correctly, this rifle is possible to build and use.

It takes more than the most expensive rifle and kit to win in all disciplines, and this 'S class' still leaves plenty for the nut behind the butt to contend with (harris type pod, and no rear bag etc.) - If someone is very good at the style, and wants to put the money in to achieve excellence, then fair enough...but most (including myself) would be wasting the money...
