NOPE

As the FAC is a Section 1 document
Section 5 paperwork is issued direct from the Home Office

HI Dave,

answers ( or suggestions below)

1. Not a biggie but...Gwent Police are still putting my old club down on the cert, even though they have been informed on at least 3 occasions that I now shoot at a different club -

muppets. make sure you notify them in writing of their error, its probably an admin error. It could have ramifications though if your old club dont support your renewal or annual use return though.

2. The Sec1 shotgun comes with a UKPSA condition even though Gwent police now agree UKPSA affiliation is no longer needed -
About normal, its an "example condition" that gets used as its easy for them to apply. Write them a letter, explain the situation and that they have effectively issued you a licence that is worthless if you cant comply with it and ask then to change to something suitable. PM or email me for some suggested wording

3. I have a condition telling me where I can use my solid slug ammunition...but they've forgotten to add solid slug authority to the cert.

muppets- most of them assume that as its shotgun ammunition it can be purchased like S2 ammo without a record being made of it. Not their fault as ammo should not be recorded anyway. ( its an irrelevence since if you can have the firearm then surely permission to have the ammo is secondary, but thats one for Parliament so dont hold your breath)

4. Again not a biggie, but the FEO said I'd get a condition allowing use for clay pigeon...this has been left off...

add it to your letter when you write it

have fun shooting, whatever type of shooting you do
