Funnily enough, top end gun safes are more expensive than real (proper) safes. A search of recent ebay listings shows what's available.

FLO's in different areas operate by different rules! The hinges on the outside may mean that these heavy duty safes don't stand up to BS7558, but this isn't mandatory anyway!Dellboy wrote:how do they stand up to a visit ?
I use a safe that conforms to EN14450, which is a rating up to £2k I believe. The FLO's in my area are generally pretty reasonable.
