Priced similar to Husan...quite a range but most S5 to us I think. Over here they are all over the counter purchases. None of yer S1 / S5 nonsense

So could you fly over there, buy a gun and fly back to the UK if you had a slot?

In short, AFIK YES. Fly during the tourist season, I brought my S1 Hatsan back on a Thomas Cook flight but obviously make sure you can get firearms on to your chosen flight.
The system now is you buy the shotgun on your passport, no need to show FAC (as far as I know)..the firearm is delivered to the airport to coincide with your departure, you cannot take it back to your hotel. Slug and buck you can buy over the counter no problems, again make sue your airline will accept it.
BTW: They even have wee desks at the airport marked SILAH POLIS (Gun police). Police at the airport definitely WILL check you have an FAC/SGC!

All the good looking ones have short barrels.

'Fraid so Mattnall, none of your "section this and that" crud over here, it's a shotgun: some are for home /boat / personal defense, some for hunting - quite simple really.
Pity it won't catch on.

I expect you could get a 24" barrel.
Isn`t the criteria "no shorter than 41" overall" or 24" barrel ?

I am sure if you asked the manufacturer they could do a UK spec one - they just get confused by the nonsense surrounding UK shotgun requirements: they find it rather amusing but silly....and as such it becomes a minority market for them.

*40" overall for S1 pumps and semis, no overall length restriction on anything else, apart than other S1 shotguns (short barrelled double barrelled, bolt and lever) when the 12"/24" restriction comes into play

Like everything else: supply and demand...or a good hacksaw.
