Have you actually seen or handled one Nigel ?
They are VERY accurate and in the flesh(plastic) are nice. Two of the club members were impressed and are going to see their dealer tomorrow, one for a second look/quote.
Everyone has their own opinion and I respect those that don`t like it. S
I will post some pics of mine tomorrow.

did he not mean the G36?
G36's are made from nylon / glass fibre and some of the airsoft ones do feel pretty solid. but its not like the real ones are metal

I handled a ARX160 last weekend, quite liked the balance but the trigger...
I'll stick with my Kidd 10/22s and CMMG AR15s.
Don't have high expectations for the G36 or anything from Umarex.

I thought they were made by Walther and only distributed by Umarex in the US?

I am selling the ARX cheap as I have ALOT of them if any one wants them. £500 gets you one.
The UZi I have at £360
TheG36, I have shot its basically the same inside's as a the above two, but in a G36 style set up. Good gun strips and cleans well. Not avalible in UK yet due to importer being "funny" about them. Will be at some point. I was going to buy some in USA and bring them over if people want tone bad enough.
In case you don't realise Umarex owns Walther. Umarex make H&K airsoft. Walther make the "gun parts" hence that's how these guns came to be.
Airsoft far outstrips real gun sales now, so that's why H&K 22's have been made. Airsoft first, 22's as when they can be bothered!
