Gave the old Ardessa .50cal percussion its first outing yesterday.

Got it sighted in and worked up a good patched ball load of 60gns Swiss No3.

Spent the time popping golf balls on the 100yrd berm, what fun!

Black powder, muzzleloading.

Just thought that you might be interested in the fact that I picked up a nice Parker Hale .451" Volunteer (Henry rifling) today to go alongside my Parker Hale .451" Whitworth (Hexagonal rifling).

So six original Parker Hale reproductions now.

Don't worry if they get in you won't have to sell your guns they will just be confiscated for you, for the safety of the realm.
