I already have a nice one :)

It seems quite common practice in the colonies to fit these rifles with barrels of various types, 45/70 seems quite popular also 12g rifled tubes.

Yes I do like the idea of that I really do, it's a solid beast of a gun, I may put a scope on it and use it for fox with 00 buckshot

Of course it will! The SAAMI spec for 12 bore, 2 3/4" cartridges is an average maximum pressure of 11500psi. All commercial ammunition, regardless if loaded with bird, buck or solid shot, will be loaded to this.

Why would you think it wouldn't be?
