I'll see what I can do!
These could be really interesting, has he hinted at a price yet?

HALODIN wrote:Interesting. They're not L1A1's they're FALS (Imbel receivers) and they look like new receivers at that. The trigger group looks like it may have been reclaimed from an older parts kit.
Picture of a Fal is because Neal at Suffolk Rifles did not have a L1A1 available to fit the kit into.

Price to be confirmed guys, I have no financial stake in these by the way, just assisted in the project (the .22 conversion kit shown is mine) ... current events will without doubt cause a delay in the proceedings though, as we all wait to see how things pan out re .22 semi autos.
They are beautifully manufactured with all new components, better than the original HK L12A1 kit in fact and will be available (hopefully, EU allowing!) in Fal of L1A1 flavours.
Neal will provide info as things progress.

Do you know if these use the original mags with an inner sleeve or is it a new style mag?

Exact copies of the original mags mate, small metric lip (Fal) or large inch pattern lip (L1A1)

So will these be a universal fit for inch L1A1's and metric FALs or will we need different barrel inserts?
As was mentioned in an early post there seemed to be a different original L12A1 H&K kit for these with the OD of the .22 barrel liner differing slightly for the inch or metric version. Seemingly the "new" non-ported full bore barrels on straight pulls these days may not follow quite the same spec of the originals. Allegedly it seems that not all straight pull L1A1s etc are equal either - "repurposed" .30 cal barrels anyone?

Will these use barrel inserts? I assumed they were dedicated .22LR.
