Agreed, I keep an eye on guntrader - where I found my rifle, and they don't come up often. I found mine at exactly the right time just after my cert came through and travelled to essex from the midlands to fetch it. You don't see 2213's come up often at allKungfugerbil wrote:Anschutz are definitely the best choice for spares/support/accessories.bitfield wrote:Anschütz is a safe buy and there are always decent used ones to be found on GunTrader for £3-400 or so.
There are never the amount available that people seem to think though - guntrader currently only has 7 Anschutz target rifles at any price, and of those one is sold, another is spares/repair and one is in NI. I look on all of the sites and forums on an almost daily basis for smallbore target rifles so have a pretty good idea of what comes up and when - sometimes you're lucky, most often not. Add on £25 each end for the inevitable RFD transfer...
Most smallbore target rifles stay in circulation without hitting the sales sites.
That was the one that was also for sale here - the OP had already spotted and enquired about it.1066 wrote:I know it's too late now but I see an A54 went for just a couple of hundred quid yesterday on UKvarminting. They're about if you keep your eyes open.
Don't know but he certainly commented on the sale post. Oddly his comment now seems to have been removed but others quoting him have not.dromia wrote:How did the OP spot the for sale when he as new member shouldn't be accessing that forum?
