Lets get this back on track, this a for sale post and all this isn't helping the seller.

This isn't the place for a discussion about steel plate safety it is a for sale forum.

Never mind the risks of .22 lr, surely the mankini alone poses unacceptable safety risks for those stood behind you on the range!

Personally I use a swinging lollypop type target for .22 lr , the round strikes it and the lead shards go straight into the turf, usually set about 50yds away.

50yds is an excellent choice.

And yes, I'm not safe in a mankini.
