Another package arrived today much to the kids delight, thank you very much Neil :good: PM coming your way shortly :)

And....... after taking the latest package to Grandma's house for approval she gave up the tank/arty shell for the cause also shakeshout
So chaps, could do with some help to identify it. I will post a pic later tonight but for the moment heres whats written on the primer end.

25 PR/Mk2/1
LOT 76
RLB
1955 F
Theres also a random &, T, and arrow

On the primer itself is stamped:
11MKX SH&S54 JB 4/1
359TH6/56Q

The case is approx 13" long and calibre is 3.5"

Any info welcome

Cheers Matt, the kids have already ripped open the package and are now examining the calibres :good:

The .44 magnum and 7.92 are holding most interest at the moment, must be a size thing! lol

Cheers

Gaz
No problem, glad to be of help.

It always pleases me that when someone asks for a little assistance the good folk here (and in the shooting fraternity in general I have found) will step up to the plate.
And although Gaz has offered on several occasions to pay for the brass and postage it's always been declined.

Way to go guys. :good:

BTW you shell sound like a 25pdr just by looking at the numbers. Should be just under 3.5" diameter at the shell end.

Update on the "military shelf"

The wifes gone mental wtf
Apparently when she saw we had aquired the tank shell it is now "not on" that this sort of thing should be on the dresser wtf
What do "I" plan on doing with all this stuff she asks. Its not mine dearest, its the kids stuff :good:

Only one thing for it - you need a shed.

Yes Matt, I think the shed is going to come into play soon or maybe the kids bedrroom.
I'll ask the kids to try and get round her for a minimal indoor display.
I'd just earmarked some walnut offcuts to make a nice stand for the shell case too 8-)

Anyway, tomorrows another day :D
