+1 on the froglube. I use this to lube the internals of my G22 and it goes much longer between cleans. Follow the instructions for heating the component with a hair dryer and rubbing the paste in and allow to dry. It makes future cleaning much easier.

Also another tip for lubing, less is more. When you apply the lube/oil make sure you wipe any excess away because you only want a thin film. If you can still smell the lube/oil on the component then you still have a film left behind. If you overlube you can allow powder fouling to build up faster which will require more frequent cleaning.

They're milspec and the only potential consumable is the pin and you could have one made up.

Based on the readily available US Issue M261 sub-cal conversion unit - just without the "false chamber" end, as the barrel is already in the correct calibre.

10-rd magazine inserts are available new for about $16

I've been looking at getting some 20rnd mags, to make it a bit more streamline and the m261 inserts should fit the smaller mag as well i reckon.

Thanks mate. i've just swapped out the stock for a spare magpul one. just need a magpul grip now.
thanks for the frog lube tip. I've just searched brownell's for some and there seems to be a whole range of types/applications available - what do you recommend that i get please?
