Depending on date I am interested.
Re: F-B(UK) 4/5/600 yard competition including F Class
Subject to confirming with the Range Office and attracting sufficient numbers I am looking at the morning Saturday 8th January 2012 so pack a flask.
Can anyone interested post a name and the class they would like to shoot please, I am looking for multiples of 6 shooters to keep the costs down to something sensible.

The 8th is a Sunday my dear.
Also the roads will very likely be awful if last winter is anything to go by.

Put me down for F-TR , I can also bring the AR so if there's something suitable I'll shoot that as well :goodjob:

Just checked with the range office and they aren't aware of a 400yd F Class target. They may have knocked up something special for the Phoenix - like 400yd target with white disk in centre for V-Bull. However you could make it fiendish & use 300yd Fclass target at 400yds!!
In any event please put me down for F/TR

Oops, lets aim for the 7th then, I am hoping the Motorway will be OK, if last year is anything to go by I was back on the 'bike first week of January.christel wrote:The 8th is a Sunday my dear.

Heather, you are right about the 400 target, in fact when I shot the F Class at Phoenix I had a feeling one of the targets was used for two distances, not sure which though - I would need to check my notes.
The 300 target at 400 would be quite sporting as long as everyone is aware of it. I am not sure about the 'other' class as they will be shooting 1MOA V targets.

You can order a variety of targets at the same distance so the 'others' would have a standar 400yd target.ovenpaa wrote:christel wrote:

I can see I am going to need some advice on this as I have never set up a 'proper' competition at Bisley before even though this is going to be a modest affair. Do I need to tell the Range Office this is a competition Heather? I assume I will need to tell them which sizes/types of targets we need and make provision for getting them pasted up as we fall back.
