What was the hammer price on a M71 these days?

K.S G98 was holts - not cheap +1800 ish (but cheap for the person who knew what it was..)
I got the M71 from a dealer who thought just was a beat up M71 800 ish, but they missed the ORTSPolizeibehörde marking.
There are pictures of colonial troops with the G98's and the M71 Jaeger rifle, but not the infantry M71 ... ta !

Finding a decent G98 is becoming as hard as finding a decent K98. I n finally found a Jager M71 recently. Condition was really exceptional and the the end of a 3 year quest. Gotta love a Mauser!
