Weathers been orrible here today. And as for the bloody midges on Running Dear, what's that all about. Shooting has been up and down today with only Advancing Target to go.
I'm knackered!

No probs - It was good to finally meet yourself and Christel
- shame you didn't find Canada house; it's a very interesting place, and I had a nice drink with Dromia and Mrs Dromia...was good to have a proper chat, as opposed to across a stall crowded with customers - There was no sign of John25 either, and I didn't see Mike357...I can only assume he was over-awed by just how many pubs and bars there are at Bisley tongueout
Was also good to meet ENS, and his French girlfriend (although I did fear for my nipples! ), Gaz and his friend (I very nice guy...for a journalist :P ) and Saddler briefly
...hopefully meet a few more next time....

We found Canada house and Christel was despatched to fond everyone at which point someone stopped Christel and said he had been told when a woman with red hair turned send her to the OSM, so off we went to find.... nothing so we then drove around a bit and went home, so we did find CH but did not go inside.
Being quite honest I am a bit hacked off about it as it would have been good to catch up.

Unfortunatly neither of us had your number, or we'd have called you (will sort that in future) - it was a shame, but there's other meetings....
The inside of the place is fascinating - there are more dead animals (including a polar bear!) than you shake at stick at - normally I don't like animal trophies, but the place has a great historical feel to it...Dromia looked most reagal in his comfy-chair :P - when there isn't an event on, you can get b&b there for what is very reasonable considering, and we were discussing the possibility of getting some FB'ers together at some point in the future and booking some range time....

I was as organised as a whorehouse on pay day! - That siad that was better than the start of the afternoon session was!
I had 15 minutes to get my last string doing - al whilst "teaching" a newbie - when I am still a master expert newbie !!!
French GF my ar%"* - I have standards - they may be low - but they are not that low!!!
Thats was karma paying me back :-) for my little tweak!
Kennies and Mike faces were priceless

Sorry I missed you ENS, suddenly realised we were gone and had not said goodbye. How did the F/TR go, did you have to go back this morning and you really do need to tell us more about your new friend, we only spoke briefly however she did say she had been on a reloading course and was a tad concerned about her RWS being from different batches so I hope it did not spoil her day unduly...

It was nice to meet up with Ovenpaa and Christel and of course 20series. Had a good day yesterday shooting .303 in the warm weather on century. Todays drizzle made it interesting at 800/900/1000 yds. I had a good 900 putting in a 71.6 but 800 and 1000 were both 68s. I feel that I have a chance of a medal or two. Off to the prize giving and then beer and curry in the Surrey.

We were at the prize giving too and I'm now stuck in a car on the M6 heading north I the pouring rain.
I shot a PB in TP1 SB and I think I came second in The Granet SB which I have never shot before with a 299. Could have shot 300 but wouldnt have beaten the winning X count.

Well done all, I am impressed by the number of competitors that are members of the F-B(UK) forum

Cor, someone being nice about a journo - that's a first!!! (mind you, ovenpaa accused me of being a drug dealer within ten seconds of me turning up, cheeky git!)
