It looks like I can't have an M14 EBR because the demand isn't there, they would need an order for 20 rifles and Suffolk Rifles only have 1 at the moment, mine... :cool2: Anyway, if that ever changes, I'll have one in a heartbeat, so it looks like rifle number 4 is an FN FAL chambered in 7.62 NATO. Hopefully I should have it by next weekend. fingerscrossed

Considering i'm not ready to reload yet and if the preferred round is GGG which has been described as "buttery", how can I make sure I have a ready supply of the stuff?

1) Do RFD's ship ammo to each other the same as they would rifles?
2) Assuming they would, who supplies GGG and would I be charged the same amount by the RFD for ammo as you would if they received a rifle from another RFD?

Any help is appreciated. :good:

Cheers,

Craig.

Thanks for the reply. I'm really after GGG, just because it makes life simple. Once the rifle is bedded down, I will probably experiment with other ammo, but not at first. No is ovenpaa able to supply ammo?

Cheers,

Craig.

I might need 3 or 4, do you think that's a problem?

Will they ship ammo to an RFD of my choice?

Where did you find info on the straight pull M14/M1A (wooden stock)? I'd have one in a heartbeat!

Speak to Neal at Suffolk Rifles, but he would need to order the rifles in a batch from the factory and he doesn't believe he has enough interest from potential customers to do it (yet...). I'd have one as well (in a heartbeat), but with the EBR stock. Beautiful rifle IMO.

Speak to him, maybe with you and me badgering him, he'll buy in a batch. Let me know what he says.
