I would like to extend my sincere personal thanks to all those who pointed and yelled "JOURNALIST!" from distances of 200yds+ while I was peacefully bimbling around the camp.

Last year, I never got to shoot my Schuetzen Rifle off-hand at 200 yds,--- I won't get it wet--- but the gods smiled this year and I just made it between the showers.
A bit of .22 and .310 on Melville, patched ball rifle at 50yds and then finish with 100 yds off-hand gallery rifle on Stickledown. It usually rains for this last one and, sure enough it poured down, but the NRA kindly provides gazeebo type covers to protect soluble old wrecks like me.
Well organized, well run, well worth the trip. The trade fair was full of expensive junk. There were some bargains, but nothing that I wanted. Total spend--£0.
