If a tube fed semi auto is what you want, get a Stoeger 3000 from Riflecraft. They do a 9+1 with enlarged bolt release for £749, Stoeger is owned by Benelli. It uses a very similar inertia operating system to the M2.
The gas operated Beretta 1301 will cost you about £1100 for a 9+1 capacity. A good shotgun, but I'm no fan of gas operation shotguns and opted for the Stoeger myself.

I saw a couple of Bakals around 4 years back. They were very "agricultural" but also cheap at that point. Nothing fancy, not great to look at but they did work ok.

At that time I considered the Hatsan Escort to be the better of the two.

MP153 supposed to be on the heavy side.
Not cheap new either and little in the way of add-on parts for extending magazine capacity.

I had a Mossberg JM Pro, it's what put me off gas operation shotguns. The Stoeger is more comparable to a sorted M2 Benelli. If I was inclined towards a gas gun I'd buy the Beretta 1301, I've had a go of one. They're very relaible and soft shooting so ideal for women, old people and youngsters.

You need to phone Riflecraft and speak to Bentley. I think the first batch might be almost sold out, but they'll be bringing more in.

I've had the lifter welded, an extra £45, standard charging handle, but when the parts become available it's an easy fit.
