I am very interested, but have been busy, so don't know if there's been any shooting on the telly...

...it's very frustrating as I really don't like Facebook and Twitter, so I'm missing out...I'm enjoying Gaz's blog, and wish someone would set up an ordinary web page/blog for the shooting instead of using 'cool' media, that some of us just don't want to use...

The reason that a lot of this stuff is posted on facebook and Twitter is that its a lot easier doing in on them than via a website. I originally used a pretty blank profile on facebook to keep up with a couple of posters I was interested in.
I maintain a website for a small local group, I find Facebook much easer to spread the word, and once setup correctly there are no annoying games requests or other crap.

If you think think some people would prefer this info via a website well your probably correct, one solution is DIY. Various people are covering this kind of stuff using social media, maybe you fancy setting up a website (or blog), hosting it, keeping the software up to date, keeping layout standard, or you could use Facebook where its all looked after for you, just have to hit post.

Have to say that British Shootings posts on Facebook have been pretty good today, lots of stuff flowing from them, nice photos too.

Gaz came in at 14th and had a mention for great shooting in difficult conditions.

Its a shame the BBBC thread got sidetracked, they provided excellent coverage using Facebook, and it was watched all over the world.

Some amazing scores there...and it's great to see TR bringing some medals...it should defiantly be an Olympic sport.

I noticed that everyone generally dropped more shots in stage 1 (21 shots) than in stage 2 (30 shots)...do you know what that's about...weather conditions?

It's good to see that all our shooters are doing well, and have actually seen some on the telly...I suppose when there's that many medals being won they can't ignore it

Sorry to drag this back up, but - I decided to have a quick look at he NRA home page when I got in, and saw the link to the BBBC facebook page...I clicked it to see what would happen, though I expected to be directed to a 'sign in' page...but no, no sign in, it took me to the actual page!...where I've just spent the last 45 mins catching up on the interviews and photos

I know it's my fault for assuming; but I wish you'd pointed out that you don't need an account (which is what I don't want) to view it...
