Included a line in my variation's covering letter along the lines of "As per section X.XX of the HO Guidance, please include a condition allowing usage for clay pigeon shooting".

Didn't hear anything back on that but the cert came back with it included.

One for one variation request posted last Thursday night. Back in my clammy hands this morning!

They forgot to include clay pigeon however not overly bothered and will get sorted when my ticket next goes in.

I quite fancy having a bash at rolling my own slugs.

STILL having issues on my FAC not having "Clay Pigeon" listed as an authorised condition.
Checked the Guidance earlier.
ALL Section 1 shotguns SHOULD have an AUTOMATIC CONDITION added for Clay Pigeon!!

A decision on this is presently with "the Policy Unit" of Police Scotland!!

Never mind that it USED to be automatically added, nor the wording of the 2015 Guidance which states that it SHOULD be added to ALL S.1 shotgun FAC conditions!!

Interesting. There is no "may" nor "should" in Appendix 3.

IMO you should be bothered because these bouts of "forgetfullness" seem all too common these days from what we're reading on here. It could also be a deliberate ommission could it not - they would not let you "forget" somehting quite so easily I reckon...just saying.
If too many people leave it till next time to correct their errors then those "errors" might become routine...and then "law" unto themselves.
