Your gypsy shawl and bling should also tell you that a fired patch in that condition has failed and is doing nothing towards launching the ball consistently and accurately, as has been already said cotton isn't really up to it as a patching material.

You missed the point that badger has only just discovered the metallic cartridge, so contemporary relative to the context of the thread, please pay attention.
Horse and cart? Good heavens no, I order all my stuff over the internet and have it delivered next day.
Horse and cart is the quaint ruskkie method, with the role of the horse usually being played by the wife of the family.
