I don't think DaveT was suggesting that you air the grievance here, he was suggesting that you contact Dauntsey to discuss it with them.
I am like the majority on here and have had nothing but good experiences with Dauntsey and Clint's team there.

Forum rules
Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'
The Scotsgun Ruling:
>Add Gun Shop here<
"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."
Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!
This rule applies to the entire forum.

There are no rules on here that prohibits you from engaging constructively with Dauntsey guns. If fact the rules encourage you to do so.

A friend lives within striking distance and has good things to say about the quantity and availability of firearms, shotguns and ammunition, a very 'slight' negative regarding Shotgun Gunsmithing services through.
This is possibly more of an issue of out sourcing services (as many have to do), rather than Dauntsey Guns to be fair and the place looks great judging by the site, way too far for me unfortunately...

Re: Dauntsey Guns - well done
Dauntsey Gun have always been brilliant to my brother and I. I travel from Cornwall to Dauntsey always! All my purchases have gone though Clinton/Marlon/Paul. Everyone who works there are genuine. They are never worried about sourcing something they don't stock. Ammo room is always full and I find myself always coming out with more than I went in for due to the amount of stock they hold.
Between my brother and I, we have purchased 8 firearms and i already have the next one in mind and it will only go to them.

I hope they weather this current situation, they are currently not even doing web orders.
