Does the NSRA sell full bore stuff? I have never been inside to check them out.

They sell HPS ammo and various other kit that can be relevant to full-bore (mainly TR related since it crosses-over from NSRA/ISSF disciplines - gloves, jackets, slings, rearsight and foresight irises, butt plates, anything from the Gehmann catalogue, cleaning, etc etc - worth a look to know what they have).ovenpaa wrote:Does the NSRA sell full bore stuff? Think I answered this a couple of weeks ago but spreadshirt has nothing to do with us - they are an outside organisation which made some clothing for the 150th anniversary and shouldnt still be advertising it. Not our website and nothing to do with us since 2010!Griff wrote:
I guess a good place to start would be to compile a list of what is on sale and put it up on the website. Currently the only things on sale are t-shirts, hoodies & aprons with tacky straplines mainly relating to 2010!!

I don't think it would be possible to secure that rickety asbestos-ridden relic deemed unfit for (temporary) human habitation by the Kenyans. Besides which, doesn't that triangle of land now belong to the NSRA? Although their hotel-building aspirations may be on hold, I don't think they'd allow a shop to set up there in competition with their own.JonC wrote:The building formally used by the trench experience would appear to be an ideal site.
I am sure the NRA underestimate their value to the commercial world in terms of sponsorship and support. Having the NRA sell a brand has untold commercial value and I am sure many of the top manufacturers such as Vihtavouri, Lapua, Federal et al would be prepared to chip in to have the world's foremost shooting ground selling their products. The NRA has untold clout to use with manufacturers and commercial organisations, but they need to appoint someone who understands marketing within the commercial world outside of the confines of Bisley. Its just a matter of investment - speculate to accumulate - don't expect NRA staff to suddenly acquire marketing and negotiating skills to maximise this opportunity, get a specialist, someone from the gun trade used to dealing at high level with manufacturers and who knows how to negotiate the best deals. This should be run by the NRA so that they benefit from the entirety of the income and not be half hearted in this approach.JonC wrote:I agree with ColinR, and have to say that I was surprised that somebody like SGC havent setup shop there. Rather than clogging up the armory a dedicated shop is needed, either run by somebody else, or directly by the NRA with some support using concessions (reloading or custom equipment). The building formally used by the trench experience would appear to be an ideal site.
