Only know this because it happened to a mates and this is what I did for him to sort it.....
Tried it today but no luck. I've taken a pic because there's a metal bit on the slide and don't remember it being there before :s
First thing I did when I bought my GSG was throw away the push pins and all the screws and replace them with the kit from RRages http://rrages.com/screws/net.htm
I may still have a few bits left over if needed.
There's room for all Gods creatures, next to the mash and gravy :)

How did you manage that, Jeff? I couldn't get them to ship to the UK. What ya got left?
