Sorry that stems back to something that happened many years ago, and to this day if someone shows up and then receives a call or text in the first ten seconds the standard observation from those around them is 'HOI, STOP SELLING DRUGS!'

Well just got up after too many beers in the Surrey. Managed to get 1st place in the 100/200/300 yds .303 class and set a new record score
Came 2nd in the 400/500/600 .303 class (with what would have been a record score) and 1st place in the 800/900/1000yds .303 with another record score for the match. :shakeshout: All in a good weekends shooting despite the weather on Sunday morning. I will have to return next year to try and beat my own scores.
Ovenpaa, the project .303 Rifle is underway. Had a good chat with John Carmichael and we have a cunning plan.

Nicely shot Mike
- I hope the PB made the trip worthwhile - Also 299 on the Grannet is a nice score too (I won't say how many I dropped
)...the course of fire isn't as easy as it's suggested on paper...
Very well done Steve
- with two 1st places and a 2nd, will that not give you the aggregate aswell...and a nice collection of medals :goodjob:

Very good shooting indeed Mike, I assume you will be coming back to Bisley again then?

Steve E, did you have a red jacket on and were leaning against the wall? If that was you then I was about 2 feet behind you at the prize giving.
I did well in 4 out of 8 events getting a Gold, Silver and Bronze standard score in my class. I'm not sure about some of my classes being accurate but that's for another day. Small Bore was the surprise as I am better at centre fire but that all got turned on its head.
Will I be back? Hell yeah! Will be down for The Nationals in August.
