Yes....and NO ! Sense & UK firearms laws are not even on a nodding acquaintance!

Local policy here IS that S.2 barrels ARE added to the SGC - I have direct evidence as a local RFD sold me 2 barrels and they WERE added to my SGC, plus I had to inform the FLO of their purchase, etc.

Does this mean that this transaction was not legally required & I can ask for my SGC to be so amended?

No, because when the SNP get their way and ban absolutely everything, they want to know exactly what you've got....
