Ok - head out of slave pit ... just got home - long days etc
Been following the thread and could not enter a post on mobile phone!.
POINT 1 - The coaches :goodjob:
Thank you to all the people that took a full day out of their lives.
Matt andChris took 2 whole days and did a sterling job - much more than people realise here.
Matt and his much better missus, Chris, Tom & Louise, AlanM, Ian C & and his missus (and very good dog), DeanW, Ian Davis, MichealL (and whole family), AlanW, LeeG, PeterG and Guy L
Even my daughter - who makes cold tea emrolleyes - which I drank with a grin - I need H20 and sugar!
The people were all stars - every single one of them!!!
They all worked like trojans - their grace and sense of humour not failing once.
They greeted very visitors with a grin and got them thumping down range as soon as possible.
At least 4 personal rifles (and some ammo) were used to augment the rifle to assist in the delivery of projectiles in the general direction of the 1000 yard target.
Lest we forget many NRA people also toiled in our broader interest and we need to acknowledge and thank them too.
POINT 2 : The visitors
By and large they were very good and very engaging. A few minor complaints about long waits - but were were ambushed by the accumulation of events.
They saw were were trying and not "hanging about".
We have too many that want a 1000 ballistic masturbation event - not enough serious interested punters for the "F-Class"
POINT 3 : The rifles and ammo
I am preparing a report for NRA ... many valid points made here. We need to review method, tools and purpose.
LESSONS LEARNT :
Plenty ... and I mean plenty lessons!!
But I would request a period of grace to discuss proposals with the NRA about future events and how we will conduct them before discussing them here.
I might add that I saw several pertinent and valid point in the forum and I appreciate the good sense of humour and grace with which they were aired and discussed.
Credit to this forum and of shooting brethen.
Thanks you all once again.
