i might add that if the shooting shed can come up with the goods regarding the extractor grouve cutter, then put me down for one price dependant :grin:

Something along these lines? Would need to hold the cartridge and be able to turn it while cutting the groove deeper or altering it's shape, height etc?

that might work or a full circle with a depth ajustable carbide cutter shaped to match extractor groove profile

on reflection full circle would be best recessed for the rim of the cartridge, with the non cutting edge of the cutter resting under rim, turning under hand pressure, so finger turning points as in butterfly nut, perhaps with plastic busshings for different size calibres, hope this helps
