Doing the lot in one day is a mind frier.
They are invariably running late so you dont get time to pee (or feed icecream to Daves dogs).
League matches usually only do 3 distances per day, do doing 6 is a bugger if you try.
My way of seeing it is do the shorter distance in the afternoon (it was like a washing machine last year) and the long range AM on the sunday.
This way I can hang around the shooting shed and put customers off like a podgy scarecrow
Last year we were all on time for the first round down the range, only to see the markers arrive when the first round should have gone and start ambling up to the butts.
We stood there and watched the wind slowly pick up....Grrrrr
Ah well, it was the same for all of us.
Could be worse, at one comp the RO confided that we had better get on with it as he did not understand our rules :cool2:

Thought that one through....
Entered online and realised it was the same weekend as Diggle (GB Fclass round).
Given the traffic that weekend I think I will do the cheapie and fez out at Bisley.
I dont see the problem with the fees.
Work out as an individual what it would cost to shoot any rounds, 400/500/600/800/900/1000 with a marker....a bloody sight more than £36

Heh, I did both shoots in one day last year and it was tough. Ovenpaa warned me it would be, but like any fool, I refused to believe him.
At least with a short/long two day split I'll be able to browse the tat, pester Christel and Ovenpaa and make a fuss of the hound. I may also be able to get a decent night's sleep instead of the three/four hours I got last time.

Yes, he mentioned he had spoken. F class is quiet hard work, I have only just stopped fizzing from the weekend.
I love seeing peoples faces (and remember the terror well) when I first saw a 300yd F face.
You would think it would get easier, and I am sure as you work out what info matters and what info does not it will, but until then I will make like a swan.
Calmness itself outside (unless someone gobbs off on the firing point, during a comp the only noises you should hear is...Bang, tinkle, "3on 5 to count" or "nice one, good shooting", not a ruddy diatribe!!! tesnews tesnews tesnews ) but paddling like hell to stay afloat tongueout

I've signed up for a full weekend of GRSB and GRCF, including the 1500 again...glutton for punishment...
Dave, Christel...any update on the stand?...I hope we're going to see the SHED at the Phoenix again this year?

As much as I would like to say see you there we are struggling right now, the NRA told us yesterday they are not dealing with any direct Phoenix bookings this year and have not made a decision on the Imperial trade stands either...

If the NRA aren't taking bookings, who is in charge of the bookings for all the outside stands on the grass to the left of the Pavillion?

That would be Shaun who runs the Pavilion.
The money for the trade bookings through Sean does not go to the NRA. Sean leases the Pavilion through the NRA.
Yet another revenue lost to the NRA.

OK, now I understand the predicament...a difficult one...
