Very popular with tank, APC and helicopter crews as well as for close-protection work.Built under license in the former Yugoslavia (M84) and saw quite a bit of use with Yugo and then Serbian troops in the Balkans. The "cool kids" would dual-wield a pair of them CoD style!.

Because there were no repro's at the time, isn't that actually a cut down 1901 that fires 10 bore?

Finally received my fake can from CCA:
Really nice quality, tight fit over the barrel and provides a much better grip than trying to wrap your hand around the magazine and front of the gun.

Picked up my VZ 61 from Shooting Supplies yesterday and down local range last night and put 100 rounds of RWS semi auto down it with no issues apart from running out of elevation with the front sight post, not sure if thats me or whether it needs a longer front post because of it being .22.
Put a Magpul front grip on the rail and whilst not traditional gives a better grip than using the magazine.
Comes with wood grip and the fake can which is very well made and looks the part.
Very pleased and sits well with my other Eastern Bloc acquisitions.

Have you got the rear sight set to 75m or 150m? I have had no problems with it set at 75m. And is that the case that came with the gun?
