If the Canadians can have a SKS and they will soon be able to get a semi Type 81 the Canadian powers that be might as well let them have an AK!, it seems stupid they can't when they can have the others!.
Most Chinese stuff isn't too far removed from Russian to be of interest to me.....I wouldn't say no to a NDM-86 and the QBZ-03 carbine is a nice bit of kit

NDM-86 7.62x54r's are regarded as the next best thing in the US to a Dragunov. Also the Canadian government is dumb likes ours. There is only two legal AK variants in Canada, the Valmet hunter and the Valmet M78 (both in 308 and 7.62x39). Both are out of production and the 7.62x39 version is rare as rocking horse poo, I once saw one go for nearly 8K canadian and that was the 20 inch barrel model as seen used as an RPK stand in ala Red Dawn.
