Re: AK .22 conversion!
So the manufacturer has agreed to drop the price of a single unit for us and I’m just talking to the US export firm that I use now.
Hurdle 1/42 cleared.

Ok, we can’t export a single unit. It’ll have to be the next band up in ITAR permits which makes a single unit prohibitively expensive.
I’m going to work out some numbers and then I’ll post an “offer” to everyone. I’m not interested in making anything on this so I’ll need to arrange to sort it myself with a friendly RFD or I’ll try and find an RFD to hand this over to so they can import them in more numbers, cut costs and make something on it themselves.
I’ll get some numbers first and then put up an expressions of interest thread with some rough pricing on.
If there’s sufficient interest then I’ll progress it from there.
Ps, spare mags are $16 stateside.

I'd be in for sure.
Oleg at Rusmilitary has helped me with importing stuff before and this fits with his product line, so could be a possible avenue?

I have a very reputable RFD lined up now, it’ll take me some time to get prices nailed down and get the deal sorted, expect no news for a few weeks now but I’ll post back when anything of note emerges.

Re: AK .22 conversion!
Just trying to find out the actual barrel length as it’s a bit of a grey area if it’s under 12”.
Hoping to get a reply tomorrow.
Have had some help from someone on here who’s got a pallet ready to s*** from the states so trying to squeeze a couple on, if we can get them in time and if the barrel is 12” or more.
Also trying to figure out if we can go direct to the Croatian manufacturer “Grizzly Defense Industries”, which would be boat loads easier and cheaper.
Anyone heard of them or know how we can get in touch?
