The Black Rifle picture thread

Re: The Black Rifle picture thread
Froggy - The SFW has a shorter barrel, collapsing stock, heavier fully floated barrel and different sights plus a few cosmetic changes that are wasted on me. I do remember the magazine release was easier to operate on the one I used.

What is a Sapper? This versatile genius condenses the whole system of military engineering and all that is useful and practical. He is a man of all work of the Army and the public ready to do anything or go anywhere, in short, he is a Sapper.

Black I can handle, stocks such as Spuds are borderline but these brightly painted things are just in really bad taste!!!
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

Re: The Black Rifle picture thread
I shot a standard C8A1 with an Elcan a few weeks ago, it was thrust into my hands by an instructor doing his best not to snigger, another threw me a magazine and a few of them stood round as I started to shoot, oh what hilarity as I struggled to get and stay on the target at 300m. The spring had gone which seems to be a very regular event.

My one black bit of stuff, a temporary aberration only, its gone now.
