I've just looked at the new match conditions - http://www.nra.org.uk/common/asp/Calend ... RA&id=3372 - There is now a separate class for 'iron' sights...much better for the TR and classic shooters...
Even if you have no intention of trying the discipline, if you shoot .22 the elevation and windage tables for 500 yards are well worth a look tongueout

If you haven't got much time to set up and zero, you could just shoot the morning at 100, 200 and 300 yards (you'd probably need sight raising blocks for further out if you're using apertures)
I've worked out that if I zero my scope at 100 then I won't be able to get elevation beyond 300 - so for 400 and 500 I'll have to back the magnification off and use the lines below the cross-hair to aim...how far to back off, or which line to use I'm not sure...so I'm glad you get 5 sighters!
