Yes mate it was & yes I could, but the cmmg isn't plastic like the s&w and because the cmmg is mil spec I can just buy another upper if I want to change calibre, plus there is a choice of 2 barrels.

I went down that route, when time came to get a .223 upper, I already had spare AR stocks, grips and such, so I was only really buying a complete upper with a lower and trigger.

But instead of waiting 9 month for an AR from them, ive just bought the first CMMG MK4 HT in the country, and I cant wait to get my hands on it.
The magazines are not very good but a solution will be along shortly my advice hold fire on buying magazines for another three weeks

Hope they are OK, he told me several times he'd ordered me an North East Arms NEA-15 in 300aac but after months of waiting it never arrived, having spoke to NEA in Canada they say it was never ordered.

You can get an adapter that lets you use 15-22 mags, or is that what you're talking about?

I've got the CMMG LE and also have 6 of the R3 mags, I've never had a problem with them, so you should be fine using them. Anyway I find loading them with 20rds is more than adequate between visits to the target and they look like a proper AR mag, unlike all the other offerings available.
What's the solution Rburro2? They're not going to put slots down the sides like the Walthers and M&Ps are they?..
As for a solution "in three weeks". how long do you think that would take to filter down to us from the US, surely anyone with stock in the UK is going to push their R3s until they run out? (months I suspect)
