Assuming you're referring to your Vepr 12? How does it run, have you had any issues with it?

All this talk of inertia operated Benelli M2's reminds me....the first & original inertia shotgun could also be a good choice.
Add a BPS extension tube, make sure you get a post-'54 one as it will have the SpeedLoad system...
But DON'T get one if you plan to shoot it like a scared 6 year old girl with an advanced case of recoil flinch.
Oh, Browning Auto 5 (the original design not the p*** poor modern name stealer)
Also, look at the "copies" - the Remington 11 & the Savage 720

I had a chance to try a 1301 belonging to a club member recently and I was very impressed. He'd fiddled with it a little to make load two a little easier, but besides that it was basically exactly how it came. I preferred it to the Benelli personally

I know the OP was regarding the purchase of a section 2 with a view to later converting it to section 1, but to save starting another PSG thread... I've notice that no one has mentioned Mossberg's. Any particular reason?
I've been looking at the JM Pro series Mossberg 930 but only because a few mates have suggested it's worth buying even though I'm new to PSG. I'm told the better the capacity the better it is or rather faster & the 930 has 9+1 mag tube.
Now at £700+ it's steep compared to others, but are these rated by those who actually shoot PSG currently & are they worth the money or are there better/cheaper options available? I've seen them on various sites going SH for around £500 with extras added.

Yes - you missed all the posts on pages one onwards which did mention Mossbergs
