If it is I am willing to retrospectively claim my £20 and say we had a bet all along. :)
Are you willing to pay up if it isn't though ?

cheers
God no! That'd take all the fun out of getting money for nothing.

Switching to .457 seems to have done the trick.

Current load is:
25 grains X volume of Hodgdon Triple 7 FFFG
.457 ball
1 X home made lubed felt wad.

I'm not going to file the foresight (I may want to shoot over different ranges / change powders in future).
I'm now sighting the rear V notch with the very bottom of the blade (before it widens to the post) now the trajectory has straightened out over 25 yards.

I'm not at all unhappy with this morning's results. Now that I'm pretty much on target it's all down to tightening up my performance.

Is it too late to claim my £20?

It depends, do I get a tenner for suggesting the .457 in the first place?! lol

Rumour has it that tackb's pockets are deep and bountiful - maybe he'll give you £20 as well. :)

Nah. That'd be wrong - especially as I'm in a good mood now my pistol is shooting straight. :)

Fair play that man. I will match the HfH suggestion as the thread has been an interesting read..

Just another thought - Are you resting the grip on a solid bench?
