Beer, wine, cheese, meat, vegetables, wine gums (ohhhh wine gums) chestnuts, (farsins of chestnuts here at the moment); all cheerfully packed into the large space between my belt - line and my rib - cage.

Sixty six years of very good living proudly displayed.

Makes a nice stable gun platform! ;)

Someone once asked me what was my favourite food.

Without delay, my immediate response was "I don't like marzipan very much!"

Chestnuts eh? Do you bury them in a biscuit tin? That is what we used to do, no idea why though. Then dig it up come Christmas and either roast or boil them in salted water. We have a few round here but the tree rats get them along with the Cob nuts. They also strip the Walnut tree just as they ripen.

Enough of this s*** though, do you have any acts or random kindness planned for the shooting fraternity during the week?

I suspect that I know the reason you buried them in a tin:

Ovenpaa, you have used the word 'kindness' when referring to me and my current position in the Range Office?
