Well despite the reports above I've tested these mags in a BAR22, CMMG Dedicated upper with Milspec lower and in a rifle with a Raven lower and the work flawlessly, they are a little stiff to fill but I managed to get 20 rounds in without having to use the load assist device. They drop freely from all three rifles they were tried in. They feed well and operate the CMMG BHOA so I'm happy with them so far, ammunition used was SAK Magazine.

Can you post a pic of your mags, specifically one showing the feed lips?

When you say CMMG upper - which one? is it a Gen 4 upper (they're marked gen 4 under the hand guards on the barrel) or an older upper?

Whose milspec lower is it? as the CMMG is dimensionally at least milspec - can't say the same for the coating / materials though!

The mags all dropped free from my CMMG so I've not had that particular problem, but just couldn't get them to feed reliably with anything!

CMMG Upper used was a 20" Government Profile just over a year old.

Cheers John, it turns out you and I have the same upper I reckon as mine's also a 20" govt profile about a year old!

If you look at the leading edge of feed lips do you have any witness marks on the right hand lip? And any corresponding marks on the underside of the bolt?

Just trying to ascertain what's different between our two setups. The UK importer told me that CMMG has indicated to him a return rate of 30% on the gen 3 mags so I'm wondering if there's significant dimensional differences on different batches of gen 3's?

No marks on the mags that I've got and the bolt is not hitting the feed lips/tower. They were ordered at the time of release so they would be an early production run. They may have had problems between batches and maybe I just got lucky.
