Yeah against just 4 others who turned up, 3 of which were old farts

Saying that the gun looked like it ran OK, I did notice a couple of hang ups but nothing major, I'm looking forward to handling a few of these at the biggest match of the summer in 3 weeks time down in Dorset.

A win is a win, Open is always the smallest division and i'm happy to beat people who've been running open guns for several years, especially when their guns cost 3, 4, 5 times as much

The gun worked flawlessly. The only problems were in the buckshot stage because i had the wrong gas piston in.

It'll be interesting to see the actual attendance figures for the Shield match as that graph posted on F4i seemed to indicate that a lot of people signed up but didn't actually shoot the championship matches. And yes, thats a bite  :55:

Im only pulling your leg, you are right a win is a win but it's value sets the level of attainment achieved.

I would rather shoot against the best & lose than win a match against poor shooters, but that's just me.

We had 39 people shoot in Open during 2013 at the Four4islands matches, not sure how that compares as I'm not the one who compiles the graph.

I do know the graph shows the number of individual entries so anyone who only joined F4i but did not shoot will not be included.

Only those who entered & actually got a score triggered a place on the records.

Because Open is starting to grow I am becoming interested in getting an Open gun, I had little interest in playing in such a small pond previously, but now as better shooters are starting to join in its increasing credibility makes it worthwhile, I hope you can get to one of the matches sometime as it would be cool to shoot against the best the UKPSA can muster.

:)

I'm shooting Open this year, most certainly in multi-gun, but might do the rest of the shotgun series in Open too.

Got to give Thorney a run for his money, as well as the speed loader boys :D

I had the same issue at Romsey, about 10 light strikes on buckshot, killed the stage for me and ultimately the match. I put it down to the fact that the gun was literally full of water (it bucketed it down when I was on the stage, not much I could do) to the extent that the barrel poored water out of the end. Is there a different piston for buck?

There are two pistons with the current version of the Bora. One is unmarked (the one in the Bora) the one in the box is marked as 3 inch.

The difference is the additional one comes without the ring on the piston.
